Football Queensland Vice-Chair Paula Robinson appointed General Counsel for Brisbane 2032 Olympics and Paralympics

Football Queensland is delighted to recognize the appointment of QF Vice-Chairman Paula Robinson as General Counsel and Company Secretary for the 2032 Olympics and Paralympics.

Paula brings a wealth of expertise to the Brisbane 2032 team, having worked as a key advisor to the Queensland Government on the bid to secure the rights to host the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

“On behalf of Football Queensland, I am delighted to congratulate Paula on her appointment as General Counsel for Brisbane 2032,” said FQ Chairman Ben Richardson.

“Paula’s appointment is a fitting recognition of her outstanding achievements within the sports industry, including leading the legal and brand protection functions for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and Sydney 2018 Invictus Games. during his tenure as a partner of MinterEllison.

“It’s wonderful to have an experienced person of Paula’s caliber contributing to our game here in Australia in her role as Vice-Chairman of Football Queensland, and we look forward to supporting her in this exciting new endeavour.”

In addition to her role with Football Queensland, Paula is also President of the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) and Chair of Tennis Australia’s National Gender Equality Task Force.
