NONGOMA – King Misuzulu has been officially presented to his subjects as King of the Zulu nation.

This happened on Saturday in the kraal built by his regiments at KwaKhangelamankengane Royal Palace in Nongoma.

On Friday evening, the king entered the kraal in a private ceremony attended by only a select few.

He has now been publicly presented to his people as king.

He was received with loud calls, his subjects greeting “Wena We Ndlovu, Bayede!” »

Bayede is a greeting reserved for Zulu monarchs.

This means he is hailed as king by much of the Zulu nation.

This was also backed by senior members of the royal family.

The Queen Mother – Mavis MaZungu – the late King Bhekuzulu’s wife, and the Elder Prince Philemon pledged their support to the King.

They say whoever opposes King Misuzulu is basically everyone’s enemy.
